✶ Aotearoa New Zealand · General election 2026
Election night.
The preliminary count from every voting place, as the Electoral Commission enters it. Seats are worked out here by Sainte-Laguë from the party vote and the electorates each party leads, the same method the Commission uses; special votes — about a fifth of all votes in 2023 — are counted later, so seats can still move by the official result on 27 November.

Seats: our projection from the night's figures (party votes; electorates by current leader; 5% or one electorate to qualify). "EC" is the Commission's own figure when the feed publishes one. Faded rows are below the threshold.
